Singer-songwriter Rob Crawford was elected Vice President of Red Sox Nation in 2007 behind the strength of his campaign's theme song, "I'm A Member of Red Sox Nation." Rob has written and recorded several baseball songs that have been played on Boston radio stations as well as over the loudspeakers of Fenway Park. As "Regular Rob," he appears frequently on NESN's weekly program, The Red Sox Report.

In this new show, at the start of a new baseball season, a large segment will be about the Red Sox. There will be plenty of new material, but Dick will also include favorites like Teddy at the Bat and Long Live Fenway Park. Dick promises there will be four or five other Sox related songs/poems included, in addition to a lot of stories about his lifelong fixation on the team.
He will also tell tales on his career and his discovery of humor as an effective tool in business and personal relationships.

Dick Flavin has performed "Teddy at the Bat", his memorial tribute to the late Ted Williams, before twenty-five thousand people in Boston's Fenway Park, and also at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, and in other cities across the country. The San Francisco Examiner called it a "showstopper" and a "stunning, bravura bit".
