Falls Prevention Awareness Day

The Y offers free programs for older adult (65+) who are concerned about falling or have fallen.

Celebrate the beginning of fall and join us for Falls Prevention Awareness Day

September 22, 9:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m. in the Framingham YMCA game room.

Learn, nosh & mingle:

· The Y offers free programs for older adult (65+) who are concerned about falling or have fallen.

· Play Wii Bowling

· Try our balance equipment and how you can use it in your exercise routines

· Learn about our free older adult balance programs & home visits to ensure

fall-free friendly environments

· There will be Tai Chi demonstrations held throughout the morning.

· Get screened for diabetes & other health & prevention wellness programs

· Enjoy a healthy snack & make new friends
