First Framingham Recreational Cannabis Store Opens
Cultivate along Route 9 opened this week, the first of several planned Framingham recreational cannabis stores.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The long-awaited Cultivate recreational cannabis store opened in Framingham this week. It's the first recreational store along Route 9 between Boston and Worcester.
Cultivate has been in the works for some time. The store had a "coming soon" sign outside its 250 Worcester Road building for months, and received provisional approval from the Cannabis Control Commission way back in January.
A second cannabis retailer, Temescal Wellness, 665 Cochituate Road, has operated a medical dispensary in Framingham since 2018. That location is also seeking to expand as a recreational retailer.

The only other two recreational dispensaries in the area are CommCan along Route 109 in Millis (a second CommCan in Southborough is medical-only) and Garden Remedies in Marlborough.
Cultivate in Framingham is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Due to coronavirus, the store does have some health and safety restrictions in place.
