FRAMINGHAM, MA — Summer in Framingham means planning your commutes around construction and roadwork. July is kicked off with five roads in the city under construction for the first week of the month.

Beaver Street: Two-way and/or one-way alternating traffic pattern. Expect minor delays.

Freeman Street: Two-way and/or one-way alternating traffic pattern during the daytime hours. Police detail officers will be on site.

North Concord Street: Concord Street will be closed at the bridge between 1390 & 1396 Concord Street. Traffic will be detoured using A Street. Expect significant delays. Police detail officers will be on site.

Salem End Road: One lane alternating traffic pattern.

Union Avenue: Northbound travel only on Union Avenue between Beech Street and Linden Street. Southbound traffic will be detoured to Franklin Street. Southbound trucks will need to access Franklin Street via Main Street. Police detail officers will be on site.
