Flyers Swim Past Natick 96-84

The boys swim team broke an 8-year school record for the 200 freestyle relay, in the victory

The Framingham High boys swim team defeated Natick 96-84 on Tuesday, Jan. 6.

In the victory, the Flyers broke an 8-year-old record for the 200 freestyle relay, said Coach Shawn O’Leary.

The swimmers in the record-setting relay were Matt Peck, Ben Cohen, Hunter Olson and Cole Bassett.

During the meet the following swimmers qualified for the state tourney:

  • Senior captain Olson in the 200 individual medley
  • Senior captain Kevin Silva in the 100 butterfly
  • Senior captain Cohen in the 50 free
