Food Delivery Robots Deploying At Framingham State This Semester
Students will be able to order delivery via the 15 robots that will hit campus sidewalks this semester.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Robots will take over the Framingham State University campus this semester — but don't worry, they're just there to deliver food.
The school's food service provider, Sodexo, will start offering food delivery across campus using Kiwibots. The small bots can carry food straight from dining areas to wherever students may be. There will be 15 Kiwibots at Framingham State this semester.
According to Framingham State, students will be able to place food orders through a Sodexo app, and a Kiwibot will roll the delivery to them. The school has multiple campus restaurants, including a Dunkin'.

Sodexo has been rolling out the delivery bots at campuses it serves across the country recently.
“Kiwibot allows us to offer students a contactless and convenient option for food delivery, and this year we are excited to bring this automated delivery service to more campuses than ever before," Region Chair of Sodexo North America Sarosh Mistry said in a news release.
