Former Genzyme Building Sold for $5.5 Million
MetroWest Place, the iconic five-story glass top office building in Framingham, sold last week to a New Jersey firm.

A five-story office building, formerly occupied by Genzyme Corp., was sold to a New Jersey firm.
The broker told the Worcester Business Journal that the company is planning a major expansion and plans to renovate the building, known as MetroWest Place.
The iconic glass top building was sold to Normandy Real Estate Partners for $5.5 million, according to the broker, Richards Barry Joyce & Partners.

The property is located near 9/90 Corporate Center and The Framingham Technology Park.

Genzyme had occupied the 95,000 square-foot office building until 2012.
