Framingham Armed Robbery Suspect Apprehended

The man believed to have stuck up Framingham's Andina Cafe earlier this month was taken into custody in Sutton, police said.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The suspect in a Feb. 2 armed robbery at a local business has been apprehended, police said.

On Feb. 2, police responded to an armed robbery that occurred at Andina Cafe on Concord Street. The suspect walked into the cafe and demanded money from the register, implying that they had a weapon, officials said.

A short time later, the Pet Supplies Plus store in Ashland was also robbed, officials said.

"Based off our investigation alongside the Ashland Police Department, a male suspect was identified and was arrested by Sutton PD on our warrant for armed robbery," officials said.
