The project will reduce the risk of failures and interruptions in water service to residents in the area, officials said.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Framingham Department of Public Works is set to begin a water main replacement on two streets that will alter traffic patterns beginning in April.
The replacement is set for Lindsay Street and George Street, as well as both intersections of Hollis Street and the intersection of Thayer Street, officials said.
This project is set to improve fire flow and water quality, and it will also reduce the risk of failures and interruptions in water service to residents in the area, officials said.
