Framingham Brophy Elementary Names Next Principal
Kelly Gould will join the district from Abby Kelley Foster Charter School in Worcester, officially starting in July.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — The next principal of Brophy Elementary comes to Framingham from a charter school in a nearby community.
District officials announced this week that Kelly Gould will serve as the school's next principal starting on July 1.
"Gould emerged as a finalist through the screening process at Brophy Elementary School and a second finalist emerged through another of our District Principal search efforts," officials explained, in a statement.

"Both candidates were invited to spend part of the day at the school to determine the best fit for the Brophy school community. After careful consideration and with an overwhelming endorsement from the Brophy staff, Ms. Gould was selected as the new principal."
Gould is the current principal of Abby Kelley Foster Charter School in Worcester, where she started as a focused instructional coach in 2018.

She previously worked as a special education teacher in the Southern Worcester Community Educational Collaborative and as an instructional coach and classroom teacher in the Worcester Public Schools.
