In September, Framingham Public Schools announced John Gibbons as interim principal. The school is one of the district's two-way Spanish schools, and officials are encouraging Spanish speakers to apply.

Officials posted the position on Jan. 3, and those in charge of reviewing resumes will submit a list of candidates to be interviewed by Feb. 2.

An interview committee of 11 people will be formed to conduct 30-minute interviews with candidates. That committee, which will be made up of parents and guardians, administrators and a community member, will select three or four candidates to interview with the superintendent and his cabinet.

That step in the process will take place in mid-February. During the week of March 4, the superintendent interviews will take place.
