Framingham Community Preservation Committee Hosts Funding Hearings

The committee selected 11 applicants for possible funding in 2023. Here's when you can hear their proposals.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Community Preservation Committee has selected 11 applications for possible funding in 2023. Now, the committee has scheduled — and in some cases hosted — presentations from applicants.

Three presentations were hosted on Feb. 6, including an Arlington Street Park Construction project, the Chris Walsh Memorial Trail Design and Temple Street Park Improvements.

Three additional dates for presentations are scheduled for Feb. 13, Feb. 21 and Feb. 27. Presentations will be conducted at the Committee’s regular meetings, beginning at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the Blumer Room, as well as via Zoom.

"Once the Committee has heard all the projects, then they will deliberate, at a future meeting, to determine which projects will be supported for funding and make final recommendations to the City Council no later then April 1, 2023," officials said.
