Framingham Rally Planned If Mueller Report Isn't Released
If the Attorney General doesn't send the full Mueller Report to Congress by Tuesday, rallies could pop up across the nation & in Framingham.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Rallies could spring up across the country and plans for a possible rally in Framingham are in motion depending on Attorney General William Barr's actions Tuesday. Barr released a four-page summary of the over 300-page Mueller report, prompting questions from many. Six House committee chairpersons set an April 2 deadline for Barr to release the full Mueller report to Congress. The report details the main findings of a two-year investigation led by the special counsel into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
If that doesn't happen, Barr could be subpoenaed and on a local level, groups are prepared to rally in support of revealing the report under the hastags #ReleasetheReport #MakeitPublic and #NationalDayofAction. Norma Shulman, host of the MetroWest regional rally, already has plans in motion.
"I have applied for the permit for the Centre Common, notified Chief Trask, and getting our resources ready," she said.

The rally would take place at 5 p.m. on April 4 starting at 9 Vernon St and walking over to the Center Common. The rally will only happen if the full report is not released.
The rally is a sequel to the Nobody is Above the Law effort, which also saw a regional rally in Framingham this past November. Over 100 people rallied at Framingham Center Common. Shulman said there are expected to be over 1,000 rallies across the country on Thursday if the report is not released.
