Framingham Cultural Council Grant Deadline October 15
There is a grant application meeting on Monday, Sept. 15.

The Framingham Cultural Council (FCC) is part of a network of 329 Local Cultural Councils serving all 351 cities and towns in the Commonwealth. The local cultural councils program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation, supporting thousands of community-based projects in the arts, sciences and humanities every year. The state legislature provides an annual appropriation to the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, which then allocates funds to each community.
Some previously funded projects include: Framingham Library Summer Reading Adventure Program, Shakespeare Theatre Performance, MetroWest Symphony Orchestra Concert, field trip tour of DeCordova Sculpture Park, and support for senior citizen musical program at Callahan Center.
Last years’ grants ranged from $200 to $1,759. We are very pleased that Governor Deval Patrick and the state legislature have increased the arts funding for next year.”
