FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham schools will start on a two-hour delay on Tuesday morning due to an impending snowstorm. The storm won't bring much snow to the area, but forecasters are expecting a nasty morning commute with the possibility of ice.

Framingham Superintendent Robert Tremblay made the delay announcement in a tweet posted around 5 p.m. Monday.

The delay means that schools will not serve breakfast on Tuesday morning, and all before-school activities are canceled. BLOCKS afternoon preschool will not be affected, and buses will pick up students at regular locations, just two hours later than usual.
