Framingham Drivers Can Expect Delays On Hartford Street This Week
Intersection improvements at Hartford Street and Concord Street begin this week. Here's what to know.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham drivers could be looking at longer car trips if they drive on Hartford Street this week.
City officials announced that intersection improvements are set to begin on Hartford Street at Concord Street beginning this week.
A right-turn lane will be installed at Concord Street, which means Hartford Street will be widened to allow for the new lane.

"Some motorists will encounter delays as some alternating traffic will be required," officials said, adding that pedestrian traffic will be more heavily affected.
"The section of sidewalk adjacent to the work area will be closed for the duration of the project. Pedestrians will be required to utilize temporary roadway crossings to avoid the work zone," officials said.
