Framingham First Responders Honored

Detective Jay Ball and firefighter Tim Campion were honored at the Elks Sunday.

Detective Jay Ball and Firefighter Tim Campion were honored Sunday as outstanding Framingham first responders in an awards ceremony at the Framingham Elks, police said.

The two were recognized by the Framingham Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 929.

Ball, in the Narcotics Bureau, served the force in Milford for 13 before joining Framingham. He is an Army veteran who served overseas. Jay in a Veteran of the US Army who served in various overseas locations. Jay is currently with our Narcotics Bureau.

Campion is a 21-year-veteran of the fire department, currently serving on Rescue 1 out of station 5. He is a registered nurse who graduated from Framingham State. Campion also organizes theTurkey Classic 5K Road Race.
