Framingham Gas Prices Down Nearly $1 a Gallon Over Last Christmas
According to AAA Southern New England, gas prices hit a low of $2.27 in Massachusetts and Framingham this week.

One reason to be thankful this holiday season: unusually low gas prices.
The price of gas in Massachusetts this week hit an average of $2.57—down 87 cents from a year ago, according to AAA Southern New England, which has an office in Framingham on Route 9.

The cheapest gas in the state on Monday could be found in Whitman, Framingham, New Bedford, and Holbrook, which all had stations selling it for $2.27, according to GasBuddy.
The bad news? Heavy rain and thunderstorms will likely create dangerous road conditions Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
