Framingham Gets Scary At Saxonville Haunted Yard

The haunted yard is back for 2022. Admission is free, but donations made will benefit Daniel's Table to help fight hunger in Framingham.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Things are getting spooky in Framingham this weekend. On Saturday, the Saxonville Haunted Yard is returning to the city, with donations from the scary encounter going to the fight against hunger.

The haunted yard is located at 231 Water St., in Framingham, with a spooky tour scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

It's a free event, but organizers said that any donations made at the end of the tour will go toward Daniel's Table, a local organization fighting hunger in Framingham.

Organizers don't have a specific recommendation for those with younger kids, but did issue a statement on their Facebook event page:

"It is hard to answer questions about age appropriateness as kids are all so different, but please know our intention isn't to terrify children! There are approximately 40 children acting in scenes throughout it. That being said, there are definitely scary scenes, but none of our actors touch guests or get too close for comfort. We are telling guests with little ones they are concerned about to come closer to 6:30 rather than later as we'll do a few tours that are less scary in the beginning."
