The district shared this week that Banach will retire at the end of the current school year. Banach served as principal for six years at Framingham High School.
"It was evident during my nine day residency at FHS that Dr. Gerade, currently the Acting Principal, has already established positive relationships with students, staff, and families," said Tremblay.

"Dr. Gerade continues to refine systems and structures to improve operations at FHS and, based on our many conversations, she has a forward vision for FHS that aims to create new opportunities for students while simultaneously addressing space utilization challenges among other leadership skills that would serve her well in the role that she has already been carrying out since the fall of 2022."
