FRAMINGHAM, MA — Coronavirus delta variant cases are continuing to rise in Framingham and statewide, but health officials are reminding residents there's still another virus out there to be mindful of: influenza.

On Oct. 2, the Framingham Health Department will hold a combined drive-thru and walk-up flu shot clinic at Keefe Tech, 750 Winter St. The clinic will be free and open to residents of almost any age.

The clinic will be split into two sessions: 9 to 10 a.m. for adults over 65; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for residents 6 months and older. In order to participate, residents must first complete and sign a flu vaccine form, and bring a health insurance card if one is available.
