Framingham Man Apprehended In Milford Armed Robbery Investigation
It's the second person facing charges after a Jan. 9 armed robbery at Aroma Brazil in Milford.
MILFORD, MA — A second person was arrested after a Jan. 9 armed robbery of a Milford butcher shop.
On Monday, Lucas Morreira Fontenelle, 21, of Framingham, was arrested in connection to the armed robbery of Aroma Brazil. This follows an earlier arrest of Daniel Generoso, of Milford.
Fontenelle was taken into custody at 10:50 p.m. on Monday at a Holiday Inn Express on Fortune Boulevard in Milford without incident.

That wasn't the case with Generoso, whose home was searched by members of a SWAT team and the Milford Police Department after a "prolonged standoff," police officials said.
West Street in Milford needed to be shut down during the standoff, and wasn't opened until after Generoso was arrested, police said.

The robbery happened on Jan. 9 at around 9 p.m., police said.
Employees reported to arriving officers that two men came in armed with handguns, wearing masks and hoods obscuring their faces.
The suspects left with a large sum of cash before fleeing the business on foot into an awaiting car, police said.
