Framingham Man Faces Drug Charges In Worcester

Police said they had information the man was involved in drug distribution and had an active warrant for drug and firearm offenses.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Framingham man with an active warrant for drug and firearms offensives faces new charges in Worcester, police said.

At about 8:52 a.m. on June 13, Worcester police observed Thiago Teixeira, 38, in a vehicle on Piedmont Street. They stopped the car and removed him from the vehicle.

Police said they had information that Teixeira was involved in drug distribution and had an active warrant for drug and firearm offenses.

Officials said Teixeira was in possession of crack cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia inside a bag. More cocaine was found in a cup in the driver's side door, police said.

Teixeira was arrested on his warrant and now faces additional charges of possession to distribute class B with intent, police said.
