Framingham Man Hits $1 Million Scratch Ticket Jackpot
The jackpot came from the state's new $10 scratch ticket game, "$4,000,000 Mega Bucks."
FRAMINGHAM, MA — It's pretty lucky to win $1 million on a scratch ticket. But it's even luckier to be the first person to do it.
Framingham resident Slade Germain recently won a $1 million prize on one of the state's newest scratch games, "$4,000,000 Mega Bucks." The $10 scratcher only entered circulation on Jan. 7, according to lottery officials.
Germain bought the ticket at Amy’s Convenience Store, 68 Water St. He chose a lump sum payment of $650,000 before taxes, and will use the money to help his family, and to buy himself a new car. Amy's will get a $10,000 payment for selling the ticket.
