Mayor Sisitsky To Hold District 5 Meeting on February 26
FRAMINGHAM – City of Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky will hold his District 5 meeting on Monday, February 26.
The Mayor has committed to holding 9 District meetings in 2024, in each of the City’s 9 Districts.
The District 5 meeting will be held at the auditorium at the Farley Administration Building at 19 Flagg Drive in Framingham from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
All in the District are invited to attend. Attendees should feel comfortable to voice their concerns, issues, and ideas.
The Mayor has invited District 5 City Councilor Noval Alexander and District 5 School Committee member Judith Styer to join him.
Mayor Sisitsky also is bringing several division heads to the meeting to answers questions from residents.
“At the first District 9 meeting in January, I heard from residents about the need for an increase in police presence and response, sidewalks improvements, and school busing issues,” said Mayor Sisitsky.
“My hope is that community engagement forums like these District meetings will lead to improved outcomes for neighborhoods and more residents will get involved in the vision and decision-making of their District, and the City as a whole,” said Mayor Sisitsky. “I also hope these meetings identify ways to establish partnerships between the government and residents, on a path to create a greater sense of community ownership and an improved services tailored to the unique needs of the neighborhood.”
