Framingham Opens Search For Next Potter Road Principal
Current Principal Larry Wolpe has accepted the principal job at Douglas School in Acton.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The search for a new principal at Framingham's Potter Road Elementary School is underway.
Current Principal Larry Wolpe has accepted a principal position at Acton's Douglas School and will be leaving the district at the end of the year.
In a corresponding move, Framingham has posted the position online and is currently seeking candidates to apply.

A four-round interview process will be used to determine which applicants are qualified for the position. The first two rounds are scheduled to be completed by the end of March, and screening committee applications are open until March 1.
Wolpe joined Potter Road as an assistant principal in 2012, but was in the district prior as a teacher. A Framingham native, he himself attended the city's public schools.

During his time at Potter and in Framingham, Wolpe was responsible for implementing the dual language Portuguese program, overseeing the beginning of Potter Road’s core values — “Be Kind, Be Safe, and Work Hard” — "and witnessed the addition of many wonderful new and exciting curricula," officials said.
