Framingham Photographer Wins Prestigious Kodak and 7 Other Awards
Paula Ferrazzi Swift was award 2 judges choice, 3 blue ribbons, 2 red ribbons and the Kodak award at the Professional Photographers of Massachusetts photographic competition.
Framingham photographer Paula Swift, owner of . located in Fountain Street Studios in South Framingham, won eight awards at the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts 2013 Convention last month held in Plymouth.
Swift received the prestigious Kodak Gallery Portrait Award for her work
title “Who’s Walking Who?. The photo also was awarded a Judge's Choice award.
The Framingham resident also received a Judge’s Choice Awards on a photograph titled “Unknown Artist” and a blue ribbon for a photograph titled ”Running on Empties. All three photographs of those prints were captured in
Framingham.
Swift received two red ribbons on photographs titled “Frozen Sands” and “One for me, One for you”.

The photograph that won the Kodak Gallery Award will be on display in Phoenix,
Arizona in January 2014 and will compete in the Kodak Gallery Elite competition
during the PPA: Professional Photographer’s of America annual convention.
There were 123 print entries along with an additional 70 digital entries during the annual PPAM print competition this past weekend.
This is Swift’s second Kodak Gallery Award in four years. She won her first Kodak Gallery Award in 2009 for the image titled, “Roots and Wings”.
Paula’s 2013 entries were titled: “Who’s Walking Who” “Unknown Artist” “Running on Empties” “Frozen Sands” and “One for me, One for you."
Paula Swift Photography, Inc. specializes in children, family and fine art portraits. The Framingham resident is well-known as an editorial photographer, as she was a photojournalist for 10 years at the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, a New York Times Company.
