Framingham: Please Replace Toys Taken by Thieves
Thieves took about 100 toys for about 20 children from a Framingham-based organization.

Monday, about 100 toys were taken from Timothy’s Toy Box, a Framingham-based organization that helps families in need during the holidays.
“The police are looking into it,” said Sharon Gilbert, who with her son Timothy, established the nonprofit in 2007.
“From what I could figure out we are missing about 100 toys that were going to about 20 children. Each child receives between 4-6 toys. We give them a wish list toy and then we add other toys we think that they would like based on their ages and genders,” said Sharon.

“Tim and I are feeling extremely sad tonight,” said Sharon.
The families were scheduled to pick up their toys yesterday, and they were all disappointed.
