Framingham Police to Conduct Alcohol Compliance Checks

Framingham police announced Saturday that checks will be occurring in the upcoming weeks.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—The Framingham Police Department will be conducting alcohol compliance checks at local businesses during the upcoming weeks.

The police department made the announcement via its Facebook account Saturday. According to the announcement, underage persons working with police will be sent to businesses attempting to purchase alcohol.

Police said that the purpose of the checks are to ensure that businesses are not selling alcohol to minors, and encouraged businesses to Massachusetts general law chapter 138 and the town’s rules and regulations governing alcoholic beverages.
