UPDATED: Framingham Police Kill Possible Rabid Fox, After It Attacked 3 People

Framingham Police looking for third individual who was bitten by the fox, that was captured behind an office building off Route 9.

Framingham animal control officer William Sage captured and killed a fox, after Framingham Police received a call about the fox biting an employee from an office park off Route 9 just after 2 p.m.

The fox will now be tested for possible rabies, said Framingham Deputy Police Chief Ron Brandolini.

In the past 12 hours, the fox has attacked 3 individuals, a dog and a cat, according to a report by Framingham Police Lt. Lester Baker.

The Animal Control Officer tracked down, captured and killed the animal behind an office building at 463 Worcester Road just after 5 p.m.

One of the three people bitten by the fox was an EMT at 4:55 p.m.

Police need help in identifying the third person who was bitten by the fox.

The dead fox will be brought for testing for rabies on Friday.
