Framingham Police Warn Of Wallet Thefts In Stores

"Please be vigilant and protect your valuables," Framingham police said.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — If you're running around buying last minute gifts this week, don't get too distracted.

Framingham police reported this week that they've responded to several wallet thefts at city stores during the shopping season. Police are asking shoppers to be mindful about their personal belongings while browsing local stores.

"We have taken several reports for stolen wallets at area stores. In most instances, the victims' attention was diverted from their belongings. Please be vigilant and protect your valuables. Do not leave wallets and pocketbooks unattended," police said in a Tuesday Facebook post.
