Robinson's likely appointment to the federal job means she will step down from her state House seat. Following redistricting, Robinson's 6th Middlesex District now covers all of Framingham below Route 9, plus an approximate area between the Natick Mall and the Mass Pike between the Natick town line and Route 126. The seat will be up for election in November.
