Framingham Residence Inn Sells For $16M, Renovations Planned
APEX Capital Investments sold two suburban Boston hotels to JNR Management, including the Residence Inn in Framingham.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Framingham Residence Inn has been sold for just under $16 million, according to property records.
This move comes as part of a sale by APEX Capital Investments, who closed a sale of two Marriot-branded Residence Inn hotels in the Boston suburbs to JNR Management, according to a news release.
Renovations are planned at the Residence Inn hotels in Framingham and Norwood. Other than that, however, things will largely stay the same.

A news release confirmed that JNR and Marriott reached a long-term franchise agreement to keep the hotels as Residence Inns. Additionally, the hotels won't close during renovations.
The Framingham hotel has 125 rooms and is located just 25 miles west of Boston. According to the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds, the hotel at 400 Staples Dr. sold for $15.8 million.
