Framingham Restaurant Gives Away $500,000

A Framingham restaurant gave away a half million dollars to its customers during a March promotion.

Samba Steak & Sushi held a gift card giveaway in March, giving away $500,000 worth of gift cards to its customers, said its PR spokesperson Traci Fisher.

To thank its loyal customers after a measles incident with a customer in February, Samba Steak & Sushi offered a gift card promotion for about two weeks, through March 15.

If a customer spent $50 at dinner, they received a $50 gift card. If a customer spent $120, they received a $120 gift card. The promotion was good for food only and dine in only.
