Framingham Salvation Army Well Short of Its Holiday Goal
The local charity made a plea for more donations on its Facebook page.

As of last week, the Salvation Army in Framingham had only raised $30,000.
That is just a little more than half of what it had to raised last year during the holidays, via its bell ringers and kettle drive.
The local charity made a plea for more donations on its Facebook page.

“Last year, our total amount raised was $52,000. By December 17, 2013, we had raised $39,000. IT IS NOW DECEMBER 17, 20124 and we have only raised $30,000 in the kettles,” announced the local charity on its Facebook page.
“This is how we keep The Salvation Army open and operating all year long. Tell your friends and family to drop some change into the kettles! FRAMINGHAM NEEDS YOU!”
