Framingham Waushakum Beach Opens, Saxonville Beach Closes For E. Coli
The waterfront at Saxonville Beach will need to be retested before officials consider opening it back up for swimming. What to know.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — The waterfront at Saxonville Beach is closed after heightened levels of E. coli were discovered this week, officials said.
That means no swimming at the beach, as swimming in the water could cause illness, according to officials.
"The water will be re-tested and the waterfront will reopen once the bacteria is back within acceptable limits," officials said.
