Framingham Sees Another Day With High Coronavirus Deaths
The number of Framingham residents who have died of COVID-19 complications reached 66 on Wednesday.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham counted another six coronavirus deaths on Wednesday, continuing a stretch of days with multiple deaths.
Framingham has seen between four and six deaths each day since last Wednesday, except May 7 when no deaths were reported. Twenty-four of the city's 66 total deaths have occurred since May 6.
Framingham's first coronavirus fatality was reported on March 26 when a man in his 80s died. The second death was reported on March 31. By May 1, a total of 28 people had died.

The total number of coronavirus cases increased by 26 on Wednesday to a pandemic total of 1,323. Of that total, there are now 805 active cases in the city. Wednesday was the third day in a row that the number of active cases has declined.
