Framingham State Issues Snow Emergency Ahead Of Winter Storm
The snow emergency affects parking and has canceled classes scheduled at 4:30 p.m. or later.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham State University has declared a snow emergency ahead of more winter weather expected on Wednesday afternoon.
Starting at noon, students, faculty and staff were required to move their vehicles to designated parking lots as a way to aid snow removal efforts, university officials said. All upper campus parking lots are closed during the snow emergency.
Additionally, all classes scheduled at 4:30 p.m. or later have been canceled.

The new storm system will sweep across Massachusetts starting around noon Wednesday, dropping as much as 6 more inches of snow in some areas, according to the National Weather Service. The storm will also bring potentially high winds to the state, with a wind advisory in effect for the Cape and South Shore.
