Framingham Wins Mile Swim; Takes 10th Title in 11 Years
Framingham's swim team won the annual James E. Ehrlich Mile Swim Friday afternoon at Dug Pond in Natick.
Framingham’s swim team won the annual James E. Ehrlich Mile Swim Friday afternoon at Dug Pond in Natick.
It was the 10th time the Framingham Swim team had defeated its rivals in the Suburban Swim League. The win also brings the trophy back home to Framingham, as Newton won the title last year.

Framingham’s boys captured first, second, fourth, fifth and ninth place to take first, and secure the first place win overall for the Framingham Frogs.
Hunter Olson took first in the boys mile swim, just out touching team mate Ben Cohen, who finished second. Frogs Joe Wang (fourth), Nate Courville (fifth) and Aidan O’Leary (ninth), all finished in the top 10 out of 60 male swimmers.

The boys tied the league record held by Framingham with 21 points.
Forthe girls, Maddie Biron finished fourth. Julia Long (seventh) and Carol Wang( eighth) finished in the top 10. The other Framingham swimmers were Amanda Berdecio (22nd) and Tatum O’Leary (23rd) out of 60 female swimmers.
