Framingham-Based Cumberland Farms Unveils Concept Store
The new concept store, located in Roxbury, features touch screen ordering kiosks where customers can customize their meals.

Cumberland Farms, headquartered in Framingham, announced the opening of a new store in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, marking the brand's first urban location to open in Boston since 1981.
Featuring a modernized design and architectural features, the Roxbury store also now offers a range of new, hot food items from pizza slices to grilled hot dogs to fried favorites.
In addition, the new concept store features touch screen ordering kiosks where customers can customize their meals.

A grand opening event on Tuesday, Nov. 19 will kick-off the store's month-long fundraiser for Boston Medical Center. During the fundraiser, 10 cents from every purchase of Cumberland Farms' iced or hot coffee, brewed teas, fountain sodas, and Chill Zone drinks will be donated to the neighboring hospital.
"Though we have remodeled over 170 retail locations very rapidly over the past 2 years, this store opening is a special one for us. We could not be more proud to make life easier for the busy people of Boston," Ari Haseotes, President of Cumberland Farms said in a press release. "With our brand new look and store concept, we felt the timing was right for us to provide this vibrant neighborhood with a convenient, affordable option for freshly prepared food and our every day convenience items."
