Fuller Middle School Read-A-Thon Raises $3,500
The Pennis For Pages initiative raises money for families of Framingham students. Here's how many students participated, and more stats.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The 2022 Pennies For Pages read-a-thon at Framingham's Fuller Middle School is complete, and over $3,000 was raised for Framingham school families.
Officials announced that the reading initiative raised $3,500 this year, with 361 students participating, reading a total of 182,605 pages.
School officials said 38 participants read a total of 1,000 pages, with 27 percent of participants reading at least 500 pages.

In addition to raising funds, a secondary benefit of the initiative is an increase in book circulation across the school.
During the initiative, 844 library books were circulated, marking a 52 percent increase during the four-week period.
