Fundraiser Aids Framingham Man Hurt In NH Off-Road Accident
Greg Cunningham was riding an off-road vehicle in Berlin, NH, Saturday when the vehicle flipped and crushed his arm.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Framingham man who was gravely injured in a utility-terrain vehicle (UTV) accident in New Hampshire over the weekend has "many challenges ahead," and local supporters have started a fundraiser in his name.
Greg Cunningham, 23, was riding the UTV at Jericho Mountain State Park near 4 p.m. Saturday when the vehicle flipped over. Cunningham was seriously injured and flown to Tufts Medical Center in Boston shortly after the crash.
"The passenger of Cunningham’s UTV stated that while coming around a corner in the trail, she believes that the machine’s right tire hit a large rock on the trail, which caused the machine to begin to flip," New Hampshire Fish and Game said in a news release.

Cunningham's arm was trapped under the vehicle and had to be partially amputated, according to the GoFundMe fundraiser page.
"Please help Greg with his recovery from this terrible accident," the fundraiser appeal by Jennifer Puglielli said. "He has a long road ahead of him that will involve multiple surgeries and many accommodations. Greg faces many challenges ahead which will ultimately lead him to be fitted for a prosthetic arm and long-term rehabilitation."

Puglielli knew Cunningham because he worked for years at her family's Puglielli Landscaping company. She said Cunningham recently graduated from the Wentworth Institute of Technology and was hoping to get a job as a computer programmer.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the fundraiser had reached about $7,300 against a $10,000 goal.
