Fundraiser Aids Framingham Man Killed In I-395 Rollover

Carlos Ortiz-Pomales, 20, and Leeha Thompson, 21, of Southbridge died in the Sunday wreck in Webster.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The family of a Framingham man who died in a double-fatal car crash over the weekend is trying to raise money in his memory.

Carlos Ortiz-Pomales, 20, and Leeha Thompson, 21, of Southbridge, died when the BMW they were riding in crashed along I-395 in Webster on Sunday just before noon. A 21-year-old from Southbridge, and a 20-year-old from Framingham were also involved in the crash and were hospitalized with serious injuries, according to state police.

A GoFundMe fundraiser started yesterday by Jessica Ortiz-Pomale wants to raise $20,000 to pay for her brother's funeral, and to aid their mother.
