Funeral Friday For Wilson Elementary Teacher Normanei Rocha Scott, 58

Normanei Rocha Scott, 58, of Ashland, died Sunday, January 18, 2015.

Scott was a teacher at Wilson Elementary of Framingham for 17 years.

She was the wife of 20 years to Robert Scott of Ashland.

Born in Itapetinga, Bahia, Brazil, she was the daughter of Alfredo Francisco DaRocha and the late Geni Mares DaSilva.

She graduated from the Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz in Ilheus, Brazil and earned her Master’s Degree from UMASS Boston.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday, Jan. 23, at 9 a.m. from the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., followed by her funeral mass at 10 a.m. in St. Tarcisius Church

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her name may be made to the Normanei Rocha Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Woodrow Wilson School, 169 Leland Street, Framingham, MA 01702.
