The Geoff Epstein Framingham Mayoral Campaign Goes National
National media coverage went viral with the name Geoffrey Epstein v. that other guy

It all started with a query from WBZNewsRadio asking for an interview with Geoff Epstein, then Politico called, then HuffPost emailed. The media interest was driven by the name similarity between Geoff and Jeffrey Epstein, that dead financier villain, whose name is all over the place in the news.
Matt Shearer, from WBZNewsRadio, came to Geoff's home and had a great time chatting about the media frenzy.
Matt put together a piece on Instagram which really captures the moment, including very clear differences between Geoff's approach to the situation and the Mayor’s.

The Framingham Mayoral Race Gets National Attention
This is certainly a wild ride. Even the Jimmy Fallon show picked up the name issue.
However, as they say, all publicity is good publicity!
The truth in that was confirmed yesterday when Geoff's campaign got an online $100 campaign donation from an Aussie living in San Francisco!
That was another small step towards the fundraising target of $30,000, which is needed to run a full up campaign. Total fundraising has reached $8,000, with online donations picking up.
That’s the latest news from the campaign trail.
