Hanson's Farm Offering CSA Shares

Hanson's Farm in Framingham is offering Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares for 2014.

Share members will be a part of the u-pick strawberries and have a wider selection of vegetable selections.

As an incentive to join in 2014, members who join before Groundhog Day, Feb. 2 will receive a free U-Pick flower share (a $100 value).

Plus, if the the groundhog does not see his shadow, those members will receive $25 in Framingham Farmers' Market Bucks to be used between June and October 2014.

Hanson's Farm grows more than 175 varieties of produce, including 13 varieties of eggplant, 26 varieties of tomatoes, 12 types of summer type squashes and 13 kinds of hot and sweet peppers.

The full season CSA is a 20-week share beginning in mid June and ending at the end of October. The cost is $650. The alternating CSA is a 10-week share beginning in mid June and ending at the end of October at $350.
