Hanson's Farm Offers Groundhog Day Discount for 2019 CSA Season

The number one thing on everyone's mind at Hanson's Farm is when spring will arrive. Legend tells us that if the groundhog does not see its shadow there will be an early spring.

To celebrate a hopefully early spring, the farm is offering a Groundhog Day Special for its popular CSA.

Sign up for a CSA share by Groundhog Day, February 2, and receive a free flower share ($100 value). In addition, you can take $25 off your share cost (originally $675/full share or $375/alternate share). A full share will feed a family of four, while the alternate week share is sufficient for smaller households.

The CSA season begins in mid-June and ends in late October.

The farm grows 175 different types of produce, include numerous types of tomatoes, eggplant, squash, peppers, herbs, and more. A CSA share provides shareholders with a wide variety of fresh, locally-grown vegetables on a regular basis, while at the same time helping to preserve open space in Framingham and reduce the city’s carbon footprint.
