History Center Hosting Civil War Dance Saturday Night
Dress up in period costume or just pull your favorite outfit from your closet for this special dance at Historic Village Hall on October 3.
This weekend, the Framingham History Center will bring the Civil War era to life with a two-day encampment on Framingham Centre Common. The events takes place rain or shine.
On Saturday night, Oct. 3, the public is invited to learn dances from the Civil War.
Each dance will be taught and are easy to learn. No experience or knowledge is required.

Dress is casual. Both modern attire and period costumes are encouraged. If you would like to dress in a Civil War era outfit, Boston Costume is a great site for rentals.
Tickets are $25 per person and include refreshments.

The dance is at Historic Village Hall on Oct 3 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Tickets can be pre-ordered online or purchased at the door.
