IMAGE GALLERY: Dramatic Reading Of A Christmas Carol

In what has become a holiday tradition at the Framingham Public Library, Framingham State University President Emerita Dr. Helen Heineman gave a dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol on Tuesday night.

Charles Dickens prepared a special reading version of A Christmas Carol that he used during reading tours in England and America.

Heineman performed that dramatized reading of that special version at the Framingham Library, enhancing the story with a slideshow of more than 250 slides. The slides depict nearly every illustrated version of the story, since it first appeared in 1843.
