Imperial China Closing Beloved Framingham Restaurant

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Diners in Framingham will have one less option for Chinese food once 2024 begins.

Imperial China, the longstanding eatery on Worcester Road, is set to close as of Jan. 1, 2024, according to a notice posted at the restaurant.

"Our business will be permanently closing January 1, 2024. We thank you for your many years of support," the notice read, signed by management of the restaurant.

Longtime customers are taking to social media to share memories about the establishment, with many noting that they'll miss Imperial's house drinks in particular.

The drink menu featured many Polynesian cocktails, which brought a unique spin to the restaurant.
